The Green Jet that designer Erik Sifrer has put together is an 187 foot sail yacht that runs on both wind and hydrogen power. The luxury yacht uses two automated Aero-sail systems that can be controlled by a touch screen and an on-board computer which determines the best position for the water craft’s sail for maximum propulsion and thus minimize use of the 950 kilowatt engines.
The good-looking Green Jet comes equipped with such amenities as a pool and jacuzzi, dance floor lights and futuristic-looking interiors.
The deck has a pool right in it’s middle which also serves as a separation between the yacht’s owner and the crew. The pool has a jacuzzi built in and the yacht’s interiors are done up luxuriously. The futuristic looking interiors can also be customized according to every whim and fancy of the owner. To give it an aura of a dance floor in the middle of the sea, the sails have lights that light up at night. On the whole, the Green Jet embodies ultimate luxury with plenty of planet friendly bits that make it one very green yacht.
