This new advertising approach has helped boost the environmental credibility of the Northwest Wirral area. The billboards are entirely plant-based, “made from a living, growing hedge of native willow trees.”

“The Green Billboard has been planted at Birkenhead’s new community woodland in Bidston Moss,” 24dash.com reported. “Alongside a wide range of environmental improvements that have taken place on the site, the Green Billboard boosts the area’s environmental credentials and creates a visual highpoint for the local community.”
