GoS watches is a small-scale Swedish luxury watch brand that uses world-famous Damascus steel. The joint effort by bladesmith Gustafsson and watchmaker Sjögren, GoS offers completely unique watches entirely from the customer’s wishes. Luxury watches aren’t exactly common in Sweden (I know of exactly one brand personally, and I’m a watch dork) so this is refreshing. The rather outlandish decoration of the dials is pretty interesting, but I think it’s a pretty brave effort to be so bold in your debut, as most small-time watchmakers make pretty dull watches.  Since Johan Gustafsson is a renowned name in the knife world with his special approach to forging, we’re setting out to target that particular group of customers. There you will find a lot of people who appreciate the look and workmanship behind the use of Damascus steel. It also helps that a lot of knife collectors are watch nuts, too.
