GooseGrade Lets You Correct Any Website in the World

GooseGrade is a free service that offers a way for readers to copy edit any website in the world by just downloading a plugin. Of course, site owners must also install the plugin to see the edits made, but GooseGrade enables citizen editors to basically correct errors they see by just highlighting and tweaking text.

The jury’s still out on GooseGrade, however, as the sheer difference in styleguides, mannerisms and spelling habits around the world makes it tough to police whose grammar reigns supreme. For smaller sites and start-ups, however, GooseGrade might be just the ticket to clean up grammar without hiring a full-time editor. Stats for Crowdsourced Copy Editing Trending: Older & Chilly
