Good Vibrations by Ferruccio Laviani is a project for Fratelli Boffi that appears to be a distorted image, but is actually a cabinet carved to look digital.

This piece was carved from oak by a CNC machine, and comes from the prolific imagination of the Italian designer. The concept of this cabinet goes beyond convention as it seamlessly blends the bespoke nature of Fratelli Boffi's work with the inventiveness of Ferruccio Laviani.

The disorienting design is highly refreshing as it combines excellence in quality woodwork with a completely modernist aesthetic derived from the digital world. Good Vibrations by Ferruccio Laviani is not only an example of fine craftsmanship, but it's also a surreal piece that toys with perception and shatters notions of symmetry.
