Valentines Day

St. Louis, MO.—Jan. 29, 2007 - Lake Forest Confections, the St. Louis gourmet chocolatier, has announced today that it will be offering its customers a unique opportunity to dust their Valentines Day chocolates in pure gold.

“Valentines Day is a special time for many people and we want to help our customers celebrate by offering them a very special treat of chocolates dusted with 24kt pure edible gold,? explained Bud Kolbrener, Owner of Lake Forest Confections. ?From now until Valentines Day, our customers may choose to apply gold to any selection of Lake Forest Confections gourmet chocolates,” he added.

To order these gold leafed chocolates, customers may visit the Lake Forest Confections retail store on Clayton Road or visit its online store and select the ‘Gold Leaf Chocolat product from the ‘Valentines’ category along with any selection of Lake Forest Confections chocolates.

This is the second ‘ultimate’ gift that Lake Forest Confections has offered its customers this holiday season. In December, the Company partnered with St. Louis-based Simons Jewelers to offer Le Chocolat, a holiday selection of gourmet chocolates and elegant jewelry priced at $1.5 million.
