Global Impact - Air Pollution in Asia
[Edit]
Scientists are blaming climate changes as far as the Arctic region on environmental pollution in Asia. While most of Europe and North America have passed legislation to protect the environment, Asia has not.
What scientists call the “Asian Haze” are industrial aerosols and sulphur from coal burning, which produce “convective” clouds. The clouds affect our climate, are responsible for storms in the jet stream, and the way Arctic ice reacts to solar energy.
These scientists should also take a trip to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, it would bowl them over.
