Organized by MyDogSighs, a UK-based street artist, the Tag Tree Project has seen 200 artists from all over the world submit hundreds of artistic gift and parcel tags which will be used to decorate a single tree.

At the end of the project, each contributing artist will in return receive a random tag from another artist.

Implications - Creatively minded companies from around the world should look at a crowdsourced art project like this and see limitless potential for advertising possibilities. When you manage to create bonds between consumers and engage them in creative and unprecedented ways, the odds of your marketing message making an impact increases. No company hoping to capture the imagination of young consumers should ever discount the positive PR that heartwarming initiatives like this can generate.
