The delMare glass table is a project designed by creative Eduard Locota that recreates the vast depths of the ocean using colored blue glass to represent the water. The table is curved and modular with a layered aesthetic that captures the different depths of the sea using color and solid building materials. As a result, the table is both a functional piece of furniture as well as a work of art.
The delMare table is quite unconventional in shape and style, relying on a three-legged design coupled with gradient shades of green and blue glass to replicate the appearance of water. The glass is layered so that the darker shades are at the base and the lighter ones at the top to capture the floor of the ocean and its asymmetrical curved shape.
