Often, an image like a farm becomes standard in picturesque settings, making it hard to think outside of the box when it comes to revamping one or creating a new version out of thin air. However, the architects behind the the Glass Farmhouse seem to have had no trouble doing so.
Designed by Olson Kundig Architects, the Glass Farmhouse is located in Northeast Oregon. A stunning structure, it is unlike any farm or ranch that I have seen before. Gone are the rustic wooden walls and other tell-tale farmer details. This Glass Farmhouse is sophisticated and completely contemporary.
Considering the Glass Farmhouse's beautiful surroundings, I'm not surprised that the architects would want the residents to enjoy it as much as they could.
