The Haim Dotan architectural firm has been commissioned to produce a massive transparent glass bridge spanning 370 meters across the Zhangjiejie Grand Canyon in Hunan Province.

The structure will look fragile to the eye despite being extremely robust. And as if walking a transparent glass bridge hundreds of meters above the forest isn't thrilling enough, visitors will also be able to bungee jump off the bridge.

Hunan Province is filled with a variety of natural and cultural delights, and this glass bridge is designed to entice more tourists to the region. To people unfamiliar with China, 'Hunan' reminds one of 'Hunan chicken' on the menu at your local Chinese takeout, but this glass bridge could in the future become synonymous with this beautiful province. Unsurprisingly, the province is touting the bridge as a "Wonder of the World".
