Inspired by the anniversary of the moon landing, Permafrost Studio created the 'Giant Leap' rug. The sooty black rug is round in shape and it permanently has marks on it that make it look like the dark surface of the moon has been imprinted forever with footprints from a pair of space boots.

The Permafrost Studio rug design is a fun way to show your interest in space, although it's just abstract enough to just look like a novel design. With the passing of the 45th anniversary of the first moon landing, this is a fun way to recreate your own moon walk at home, since it will definitely be a couple more years before the average non-astronaut gets to make their mark in outer space.
