Yes! That first image is of President Barack Obama as a comic book character! Matthew Woodson entitles his gallery of comic book-style illustrations ‘Ghostco.’ The unusual moniker was a tag Woodson used in his youth when he did acts of vandalism. Matthew Woodson’s style is amazing. The detail in the expressions he gives his subjects is so stellar. Pain and suffering are common themes, as well as injury and addiction. Woodson expands his style into patterns and foliage as well. His list of clients is very impressive.
