Based in King's Cross St. Pancras in London United Kingdom, GetMoreBikes is a social enterprise that exists as a hub of cycling and bike maintenance. The services they offer include building bikes, repairs, maintenance, DIY maintenance workshops and the sale of refurbished used bicycles. But that's not all, they also train young local residents as apprentices to become self-employed bike mechanics. They note that although cycling is becoming a bigger and bigger trend in London, there is a demand for mechanics. There are just not enough!

"In helping cycling to flourish, GetMoreBikes hopes to contribute to better health among Londoners, reduce carbon emissions in central London and promote safer cycling by raising the bar on the safety of the machines and the riders," writes 'arc' on their website.
