Georgio Armani to Receive the Legion of Honor

Just such as other designers and actors, including Valentino, Lanvin designer Alber Elbaz or thespian Jack Nicholson, Georgio Armani has won its place up there and will be awarded the Legion of Honor. As by tradition, the recognition will be awarded by French president, Nicholas Sarkozy. sarkozy has invited Armani to his residence, the Elysses Palace, to receive the Legion of Honor. Not many details have been disclosed by the French Government or by Armani’s spokesman. However, it is known that the even will take place during Armani’s staging of his las collection in Paris, called Armani Prive, which will be in June 30. Sarkozy’s new wife, Italian model and singer Carla Bruni, will accompany Sarkozy during the event. Carla’s attire is still of question though. She has been known to wear many styles by several different designers; including Armani, when she wore a beautiful white dress for the open ceremony of the XX Winter Olympics in Italy.
