Belly dancer Amira Sa’id has turned her Princess Leia Slave Girl performance into a career, thanks to a cult following of geeks who are enthralled by her rendition of Princess Leia belly dancing. Wearing a precise replica of that infamous Leia outfit, Amira travels to conventions across the country to perform for her enthusiastic fans. Meanwhile, YouTube videos of her performances began to circulate, building a healthy nerdy buzz for the nouveau celebrity. Amira even utilizes bodyguards now, frequently recruiting upstanding members of the various Stormtrooper divisions that attend the conventions.  "At first I made my own appearances and booked myself," Amira said. "Now the conventions are booking me."
