Do you want to ensure your property doesn’t get any intruders, but aren’t quite willing to invest in a security guard? The affluently paranoid can now control their palatial gates with their mobile phones with the C-Gate.

It works using caller ID, that is, the gates to your humble abode won’t part unless the system recognizes that incoming number. Unless it’s pre-authorized, visitors are out of luck. Your cell phone bill change a smidge either; since the calls aren’t actually answered, no charges are laid on your mobile phone bill.
