Funny woman Wanda Sykes is the face of the new Gain Scent Matchmaker campaign, in which Sykes acts as a detergent Cupid, helping customers find the Gain scent that best suits them.
The P&G-owned brand Gain has launched an interactive video questionnaire on its YouTube channel that asks viewers a series of tests to assess which Gain detergent scent best suits his or her personality. For example, the video asks about the viewer's taste in shoes, favorite cookies, hygiene habits and "other stuff" to determine the Gain scent -- such as Apple Mango Tango, Icy Fresh Fizz, Sweet Sizzle and Honeyberry Hula -- that is right for him or her. As the brand points out in its press release, a scent match is important because people have different scent preferences that evoke different experiences and memories.
Says Edwin Padilla, Gain's Design Brand Manager in North America, "At Gain we believe the fun doesn't have to stop when the cleaning starts, especially when you're surrounded by your perfect Gain scent match."
