Get inspired by the future of cityscapes as envisioned by members of the Ontario Association of Architects for the Future of Architecture project.
This conceptual project looks towards reconciling the various goals and challenges facing architecture in the near future. The designs are created by well-established architects as well as up-and-comers. The Waterfall concept by Kasmin Devashrayee works on transforming an city setting into more of a dynamic experience while OneVision, created by Onespace Unlimited Inc., reinvisions Toronto’s financial district. Such concepts are focused on increasing social interaction and connectivity with the urban environment, as well as improving the relationship between buildings and their surroundings.
The Future of Architecture project takes on the task of imagining a revolutionary future for architecture in the city.
