Japanese automaker Toyota has already made a name for itself in the burgeoning fuel cell automotive sector, and the company is now ramping things up to the next level with the introduction of the Toyota Fuel Cell Bus.

This fuel cell bus is equipped with as many as 10 pressurized tanks that contain a total of 600 liters of hydrogen, while dual electric motors allow the bus to benefit from 303 horsepower as well as 494 pound-feet of torque, not to mention the ability to make use of the fuel cell module as an electricity generator if needed.

The Toyota Fuel Cell Bus is all set to be made available on the market early next year, and is fairly being positioned as an automotive accomplishment that could revolutionize public transport.
