Free Flight Follow Friday Taps into User Behavior on Twitter

Follow Friday has had a makeover thanks to low fares airline bmibaby. For the last 4 weeks, bmibaby has encouraged Twitter users to change their hash tag from #FF (Follow Friday) to #FFFF (Free Flight Follow Friday). By doing this they are nominating friends they think deserve to win one of three pairs of flights to a bmibaby destination.

This simple social media campaign taps into existing user behavior and adds a reward to an already popular concept. Past winners have won tickets to Prague, Mallorca, Alicante and Malaga.

The Free Flight Follow Friday campaign ends March 26th so there’s still time to nominate all your UK friends this Friday!
