Fran Drescher’s ‘Cancer Schmancer’ Awareness

You’ve already heard that Fran Drescher wants to take over Hillary Clinton’s New York Senate seat, but did you know she’s also been actively working on cancer awareness PSAs? She actually started the Cancer Schmancer Movement back in 2007, and continues to create campaigns and support initiatives today.

Every since being diagnosed with cancer, the former Nanny star has made it her mission to empower people to take control of their lives and look after their health. In her latest ads, the ‘potential’ future Senator Fran Drescher wants you to know that “You’re in Charge of Your Health.” Since her days as Fran Fine on The Nanny, she has undergone uterine cancer, and is now using her celebrity status to offer support to other people affected by cancer.
