For those who are fans of the classic 1966 Ford GT-40, check out the Galpin Auto Sports GTR1 supercar. Galpin is known for customizing vehicles, and it borrowed some ideas from the GT-40 to make this modern machine.

The GTR1 is packed with power under the hood -- 1024 horsepower and 739 ft-lbs of torque generated from a twin turbocharged 5.4 litre V8 engine. This vehicle can reach speeds of up to 225 MPH, classifying it as a supercar.

The actual body itself is hand-crafted by aluminum. It features 20 inch forged aluminum wheels, Pirelli P-Zero tires, 6 piston brakes with full carbon rotors and other features. With regard to the interior, expect a machined aluminum instrument cluster, high-quality sound system, fabricated leather and other additions.
