For The Ultimate Bridezilla - Bridesmaid Contract
Bridesmaid Contract

In a recent poll run by You and Your magazine it was said that 1 in 5 brides would want their bridesmaids to sign and abide to a contract or get the boot. For better or for worse, as the list of things in the contract go on they only seem to be getting worse.  Bridesmaids would have to ensure that no weight would be put on before the wedding, hair color or style would not dramatically change, have no say on the bridesmaid dress’, consume no more than 10 drinks on the night of the wedding, and not intentionally fall preggers before the “I do” date, to name a handful. The Bridesmaid contract is available on the website, to use as a joke or for the hardcore Bridzilla’s to be signed in blood.

Hilarious idea - but in the UK (where the story comes from) the consensus in the other media if that the results were made up for PR reasons (SHOCK). I am quite tempting of a similar contract for grooms to sign though...

When you can make jokes like this towards the ritual of marriage, their has to be something drastically wrong. Already, here in the States, laws pertaining to marriage and divorce here are horribly one sided and are only of benefit to the women of the relationship.(Its only in a rare case that you will hear about a women paying alimony.) Just the mere fact that the term "Bridezilla" exists should scare most away from this archaic ritual.
