There are plenty of commercial dining establishments that embrace the less-than-scary side of Halloween with friendly ghost and smiling jack-o'-lantern motifs when it comes to creating food for Halloween, but this year, the Hilton Tokyo is not one of them.

At the Marble Lounge, guests are now able to indulge in a variety of gruesome treats from a Halloween-inspired buffet filled with options like 'Witch Organ Soup,' 'Bloody Mousse Cake' and 'Finger Cookies.'

In recent years, gore has become a fascination in pop culture. But rather than being repelled by its frightening realism, consumers have come to be intrigued and appreciative of its darker side, even when it comes to the creation of gruesome confectionery treats and other food items.
