The folded landscapes that the Californian photographer Pete Ulatan creates can only be described as breathtaking.

The photographer takes photos of landscapes and skylines that, on their own, would be beautiful, but quite similar to much of the photography that is already out there. What makes his art stand out is the artist's ability to digitally manipulate the art so that it appears as folded landscapes and skylines. This offers a completely new view of the subjects of the photos -- one that makes relatively standard parts of the world look as though they belong to another one.

The beautiful folded landscapes offer a new perspective of the world through landscape photography and its amalgamation with digital manipulation.
