This foldable table features a minimalist and map-inspired design to create a very dynamic piece of furniture.
The 'Grand Central' table was created by two Swedish Designers -- Sigrid Strömgren and Sanna Lindström -- from an inspiring trip to New York City. Often the fold of a map is something that is taken for granted and overlooked -- but it is a very dynamic design that incorporates elements of origami for an efficient and portable design. This foldable table uses elements of that design for a unconventional twist on a furniture staple. This minimalist furniture features a clean white design -- but also features 22 connected pieces that construct this elegant table. With an intricate folding design, the table is not only a functional piece of furniture but a clean piece of decor.
