These incredible pieces of floral photography, created by artists Torkil Gudnason, use unnatural lighting to redefine and the colors of nature to reflect his fantastical imagination.

Growing up in Denmark where winters are long and cold, the artist has cultivated a fascination with the vibrant colors of nature. Who are we to blame him? Nature is incredulous for all who have a keen eye for beauty and color. However, coming from a cold and white background, I can only imagine the appreciation he has for it.

His photographs are simply stunning and I am admired by his honest distortion of of the lighting to create more vibrant imagery. After all, isn't art about taking a piece of reality and recreating it in one’s own terms? Stats for Polychromatic Floral Pictorials Trending: Older & Mild
