‘Flipbooks for Lebanon’ is an initiative by UrbaneSpaces to raise awareness amongst Lebanese children on the dangers of playing with or trying to salvage metal from, unidentified objects. This is a response to the problem of cluster bombs in Lebanon and the news of children being attracted to and playing with shiny pieces of metal that exploded upon contact. The flipbook was chosen as a medium of disseminating the message for its appeal to the target demographic of young children.
