The Flip Chair by Daisuke Motogi Architects is Transformable

By: Jana Pijak - Published: • References: mocoloco & designboom
The Flip Chair, designed by Daisuke Motogi Architects, is a transformable furniture piece that changes function when flipped. The quirky chair is available in three styles: high back, stool and rocking chair. All three change in function and become something different-high back chairs transform into low chairs, stools become deep seated chairs and a rocking chair becomes a flat-based armchair.

The fun, convertible pieces are constructed from lightweight urethane and come in a variety of bright candy colours. The Flip Chair’s versatile materiality makes it durable, light and easy to clean. Its brilliant and forward-thinking design makes it a diverse furniture piece sure to occupy a myriad of spaces in differing ways.

Perfect for public lounge spaces or children’s communal areas, these light-weight chairs are visually dynamic as well as functional.
