It's not uncommon to find flavored Greek yogurt that tastes like lemon, cherry or blueberry, but a new line of yogurts from Kroger is using fruits and berries alongside unconventional vegetable ingredients.

The non-fat Greek yogurt range from Kroger includes highly unusual fruit and vegetable combinations, such as Blueberry Cucumber, Cherry Beet, as well as Spiced Apricot & Butternut Squash, among others. These yogurt cups are rich in protein, fiber and vitamins, as well as probiotic and prebiotic cultures.

While these vegetable-flavored yogurts may seem like an unexpected invention within the dairy industry, there's a growing number of yogurt products on the market that are now experimenting with savory flavors over sweet ones. Kroger's flavored Greek yogurt range sets the stage for even more brands to come forth with savory yogurt products.
