The Flaviar app allows users to experience alcohol without ingesting it through their mouths. Instead, users are shown a whimsical collage of images that interpret the precise flavors and notes of a variety of alcohols.

This visual depiction of flavor allows users to make an informed decision about products. While asking a customer service representative can be helpful, everyone’s taste differs so this app aims to cater to each consumer's niche needs. The goal of this app is encourage consumers to seek new varieties of alcohol to expand their palate.

The Flaviar app is home to about 10,000 different types of spirits. The mobile platform also gives users the option to directly purchase sample packs or full-sized bottles. While the app has not officially been released for mobile use, it will soon be downloadable for smartphones using the iOS 7 operating system.
