What better way than with a flash mob Michael Jackson tribute to celebrate the King of Pop?
The video above is footage from Sergels Torg and the Central Station in Stockholm, Sweden from a few days ago featuring a flash mob Michael Jackson tribute to his hit song, Beat It.
Complete with retro fashion, like fedoras and splashing of neon, they danced in the middle of these public city spaces with music blaring, quickly attracting an enthusiastic crowd of onlookers.
With the recent impromptu dance parties and musical guerrilla stunts we’ve been featuring (see below), we have a feeling this might not be the last flash mob Michael Jackson tribute you see.
The Bounce Streetdance Company was formed in 1997 "by some of the best streetdancers in Sweden to explore the different dance styles of popping, locking, boogaloo and new school," according to the group's website.
Bounce published details of its plans on its MySpace page two days before the scheduled public dance performances. The group invited members of the public to brush up on their Michael Jackson moves before assembling in the city centre.
