There has been much talk of the Kanye West for Louis Vuitton collaboration, not least by the hip hop don Mr. West himself. Recently, Dazed Digital revealed the latest update: A fabulous bright red pair of sneakers flashed on the runway at the Louis Vuitton Homme A/W 09 show.

This is the very first pair of the shoe line fashion-lover Kanye West has designed for Louis Vuitton. The creative director, Paul Helbers, explained the influence for the collection as “the traveling wardrobe of an African King” to Dazed Digital. The bright red trainers designed by Kanye West added a fresh twist of youthfulness to the classic collection of show pieces and luxury luggage.

Kanye West himself looked proud as a king as he watched the show from the front row sporting his own pair of fashion designer sneakers.

Well done to the rapper/producer-turned fashion designer.
