Operating almost like a Nerf gun for fishing, the Self-Casting Fishing Pole works by launching lures into the water. The product works by having young fishers load a lure into the shooting section. After pumping it, the fishing rod allows users to shoot it up to 30-feet away without having to struggle with casting as a traditional rod requires.

Intended for children aged eight and up, the Self-Casting Fishing Pole is capable of being used by kids with minimal adult supervision. This is thanks to the water-sensing capsule that's fired out of the gun. It will only open to expose the hook and bait when it senses water to eliminate the occurrence of children accidentally shooting themselves or others.
