Female-Dominated Workplace - Eve's Tower

Male-dominated Dubai is soon to witness the emergence of the world’s first women-friendly tower.  Named Eve’s Tower, the building will only permit women-managed companies to rent office space.

To be built in Business Bay Dubai, the 20-storey building is set to create a corporate atmosphere that will tailor-fit to women’s needs, allowing them more comfort and freedom in the workplace.  Although dubbed a women’s tower, it will not be completely devoid of the male species.  But the men will not hold the reins to power as it is the women who make top decisions and set the rules.  Women employees also get special privileges such as having their own lift.

Dr. Sulaiman Al Fahim of Hydra Properties had foreseen the need for such female-empowered tower as he had observed that there is an increasing number of women leading the business world.  “We notice that more and more women are taking prominent, and leadership, positions in the business world in the UAE, as well as other Gulf Co-operation Council countries, including Saudi Arabia.  Women in other Arab countries are also participating more in international business and we believe we can cater to their needs,” shares Al Fahim.
