On September 10th, Vogue is pulling out all the stops for what should be a spectacular evening of shopping and fashion-friendly events all over the globe. A multitude of retailers, including Henri Bendel, Juicy Couture, Sunglass Hut, Opening Ceremony, and Prada are participating in what is sure to be an event for the ages.
In the hopes of loosening clients' purse strings, retailers will host fashion and celebrity-driven events such as t-shirt signings, visual storytelling, art installations, performances, runway lessons, and much, much more!
Highlights of Fashion’s Night Out NYC are sure to include the Olsen twins pouring drinks behind the bar at Barney’s, Chanel’s Customized Handbag Studio, and Oscar de la Renta belting out a few favorites at his boutique on Madison Ave. Anna Wintour and Michael Kors will be making an appearance at the Queen Center location of Macy’s. Vogue editors Grace Coddington, Andre Leon Tally, Hamish Bowles and Lauren Santo Domingo will be mingling, hosting and even performing at various retail locations.
U.S. and international editions of Vogue are coordinating evening celebrations in their respective cities called Fashion’s Night Out in an attempt to promote retail, restore consumer confidence and celebrate fashion.
