When artist and illustrator Jon DeFreest created these fake Ben and Jerry’s Flavors, he had no idea the prank would turn out to be so popular. It’s not hard to see why these designs won him so many new fans, his hilarious pop culture remixes of fictional flavors run the gamut from sublime to the ridiculous. My personal favorite is without a doubt ‘Arrested Development’ character Tobias Funkes’ blueberry flavored ice-cream with the tagline ‘I just blue myself.’
There’s also a nod to anti-capitalism protesters with the apple pie flavored ‘OccuPie Wall Street’, a Star Wars nod with the ‘Carbonite Crunch’. Funnyman, Ron Swanson from Parks & Recreation is also immortalised with the ‘All of the bacon and eggs you have’ flavor. Although none of these flavors are actually in production by Ben and Jerry’s they’re still an awful lot of fun to look at.
