Extremely Fun Downward Spirals for Sheffield Office Workers

If they choose to, workers in this Sheffield office building can depart the third floor and arrive at the ground floor exit in just 7 seconds via an enclosed tube slide referred to as a ‘helter-skelter.’

Even in this economy, a ride like that should lift a worker’s spirits.

The project, aimed at people working in the creative industries and media, is a public/private partnership of landowner Yorkshire Forward, developers Scarborough Development Group, and Sheffield Council which owns the building.
