Whether this is a joke or not, the images seem to prove it is really an activity some (crazy or really bored) people are undertaking in very serious way. I guess it means you get to wear a beautifully pressed shirt while enjoying the thrill or adventure activity of choice.

Honestly, I really hate ironing under the best of conditions, so I don’t think you will find me signing up for any of the extra curricular iron activities as featured.

Believe it or not, this has been around since 1997 and has spread around the world!
