Thom Browne’s collection for Moncler Gamme Bleu Fall 2009 is quirky and off-putting but very interesting to look at. The collection of mostly black suits, sport coats and cold weather gear—skiing poles included—was staged on a catwalk covered with a faux snow slope and snow clouds of dry ice which the models, despite their outfits, had no problem negotiating. One thing that was not made clear by Fashionisto is whether or not this extravagant winter couture is part of Browne’s ready-to-wear winter collection. References: moncler, thefashionistoFiled In: |
