You're wealthy. You like to look at neighboring galaxies. You could build one of those unsightly dome-shaped observatories, or you could buy one of these. The Porter Garden Telescope from Telescopes of Vermont is a model developed by astronomer, Russell W. Porte. The contraption is a working, bronze sundial and telescope. $59,000 USD

Implications - Human beings have had a fascination with outer space and general astronomy for centuries. It seems that this fascination persists, calling consumers to look to the stars in new and innovative ways. Though pieces created for this purpose do serve a niche demographic, there is opportunity to build a very loyal consumer base in a market that has few competitors.
