What’s a new dad to do when he is unable to continue his usual exercise routine without spending time away from his baby son?

Invent an exercise bike that allows him to combine the two activities.

The brainchild of Welsh father, Kevin Meredith, this odd looking contraption called the ‘Bike Dream Machine’ takes advantage of the circular motion of pedaling the bicycle to drive a mechanism that gently rocks the baby to sleep.

The ‘Bike Dream Machine’ beat hundreds of entries to win best new invention at the Innovation Nation contest in Britain.
