Nudie Jeans released a limited edition line of recycled jeans this past December. Named the 'Nudie Post Recycle Dry Jeans,' the slim-fitting denim was created by way of a rigorous process involving the cutting, milling and blending of old Nudie Jeans with virgin organic cotton.
The result of the manufacturing process, which was a team effort with denim company ISKO(tm), is a remarkably soft brand of jeans that appear slightly rustic with their marks of recycled yarn. With a distinct indigo tinge, these jeans represent the latest in sustainable clothing.
Unfortunately for the forerunners of men’s fashion, only 500 Post Recycle Dry Nudie Jeans have been produced and are currently being sold exclusively in the U.S. at Barneys NYC. However, for those willing to get their hands on a pair of Nudie Jeans for a cool $215, rest assured that a denim ensemble with these jeans will likely not be duplicated by friends.
