Gotham's vigilante has seen a lot of face-lifts over the years, but the evolution of Batman is not only restricted to the suits and underlying themes.
From Adam West's shiny blue cape and fuzzy spandex to Tim Burton's glossy black suit and Joel Schumacher's hilariously disturbing breast plates, the Caped Crusader's logo has changed over the years. Kicking off the Evolution of Batman charts is the original 1940s crest from the original comic book series. As the story rises in popularity with the Dark Knight's tragedy permeating through the pages and the big screen, the logos begin to take on more technologically influenced traits in its darker renditions. If fans haven't noticed already, Nolan's popular Dark Knight Trilogy has three separate logos for each movie.
