This unusual and cleverly designed oil lamp gives the illusion of an ever burning match. Not just a novelty item for your home but one that could symbolise many things. You could regard it as a decorative metaphor for everlasting and undying spirit, perhaps to help keep your inspiration going. Or it could remind you that the match will only keep going for as long as the oil reservoir is full. Something to think about this day and age with our increasingly difficult task of keeping our car filled with gas.

The lamp is produced by Anthologie Quartett and the designer is Julia Thesenfitz. The lamp costs £75.
