Toby Howes' Escher Coffee Table Has Real Edge

British designer Toby Howes has created what he calls the Escher coffee table. As its name suggests, the table was inspired by the tessellation pieces of birds and fish by artist M.C. Escher.

Merging modern simplicity with style, the Escher coffee table features three walnut inlaid arcs that slide out to become side tables. With flashes of red being revealed as the arcs are removed, the central zebrano piece subsequently becomes more like a sculpture. Stats for Tessellated Hexagon Tables Trending: Older & Average
