This new cage bras offer slightly more support than the closed-cup variety, according to Trend de la Creme. These bras are supposed to offer sort of a caged framework to serve as extra support. Of course, for more full-figured women, I would think the sensible and logical thing to do is to stick to traditional cup bras unless you don’t mind having your boobs spilling out of the cage. The cage boob holders have very suggestive names, such as Fatale Cage Bra, Bling Shelf Bra, Black Cage Bra, Dream Girl Lace Up Bra, and Wicked Temptation Bra.  Unlike the open cup bra, these new cage bras give you slightly more support. They can also make you look like you're going into a cage wrestling match with Hulk Hogan (think Chyna Doll), but that's open for debate. Unless you're Mischa Barton, that is. She manages to pull one off with ease (although it helps when you're not rocking double D's!)
