Crying Over Dead Trees

There is no use crying over fallen trees, but it does not seem to stop these guys. This film is real and features a set of incredibly emotional hippies who literally cry over a tree that was cut down in a forest.

It reminds me SO much of Chris Crocker’s classic ‘Leave Britney Alone’ video.

There is “being green” and there is “being a mentalist.” I would say that these activists firmly falls into the latter group. As a viral video, this is going crazy online.

Trying to understand where they were coming from, I did a quick bit of Google action.

“Do you think I’m weird for crying over a tree that has been cut down due to road widening?” One of the men asked in an online post. “That tree has been w/ us for ages, like seriously, i haven’t even been born yet. i feel so sad that the tree had to go, and we tried but couldn’t do anything about it.

It would take a long time for it to grow, and like i said, the tree has been w/ us for ages. it’s like family.”

Wow.
