I don’t want to be too presumptuous, but I’m pretty sure everyone knows what emergency blankets are… then again, maybe it’s a Canadian thing we take on camping trips.

Either way, it would make sense that now that silver is such a current style trend, and that recycling is an integral part of the eco-chic movement that’s so hot right now, that people would begin making their own fashions and accessories from them.

If you’re not so creatively incline, you can just snag your own white hot weekender by Martine Sitbon. Vivre says it’s big enough to store three beach towels, but I imagine it would be ideal for packing all your hiking gear.

Too bad for the not so crafty though, because at $525, they’d be sure to save a lot of money making their own.
